The first of these warranties is a Limited Powertrain Warranty that runs for 6 years or 100,000 miles. Limited Powertrain Warranties such as these will cover repairs on unforeseen malfunctions related to your powertrain. For example, if your engine stops working within this timeframe or your transmission begins to malfunction, then you'll be covered. Regular wear and tear items are exempt from this coverage, including brake pads.

With your CPO Chevy vehicle also comes a Bumper-to-Bumper warranty that lasts for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. This warranty is for everything that isn't your powertrain. Let's say your radio begins to malfunction, your infotainment center screen stops responding, or your air conditioning simply stops working, then you should be covered under this warranty. Unforeseen corrosion or rusting to the exterior is also grounds for utilizing this warranty, but damage such as torn or stained seats won't be covered.
