  The 2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 Custom is the second trim in the Silverado's line-up beside the base WT trim. It offers a few more features and functionality over the WT while also providing a unique identity of its own for those who need a versatile and comfortable work truck, family vehicle, or daily driver.   The 2024 Silverado 1500 Custom comes standard with the turbocharged 2.7-liter inline 4-cylinder, also known as the TurboMax. The engine produces 310 hp at 430 lb-ft of torque. The TurboMax is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, and can be configured in rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. You have a fuel economy of 18 MPG in the city and up to 22 MPG on the highway in rear-wheel drive, and 18 MPG in the city, and 21 MPG on the highway in four-wheel drive.

  The StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control System
