Certified Pre-Owned Chevrolet Dealer

Getting the perfect vehicle means more than simply choosing the brand, make, and model that would be right for you – it requires figuring out whether a new or used model would provide you with the best value. For many people, the low price of a used model is very attractive, but concerns about its condition keep them from going with such a vehicle. That is when you should consider a Certified Pre-Owned Chevrolet dealer to help you find the right vehicle that is affordable while also giving you great peace of mind.

Here at DePaula Chevrolet, we work hard every day to ensure we have the best selection of vehicles, at fantastic prices, with knowledgeable and friendly salespeople to help you find just the right one. A Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) option is not something you will find from a private seller posting their vehicle online. You will only find CPO models at your Certified Pre-Owned Chevrolet dealer, so you can rest assured that they are among the finest vehicles in the best condition. Come visit us at DePaula Chevrolet today to find out more and discover a better way to shop for your next vehicle.

What is a CPO Vehicle?

There are a lot of different terms for describing vehicles in the auto industry, many of which can be similar or even have the same meaning. When you look at cars at a dealership, you will see them referred to as “new,” “used,” and “pre-owned.” New vehicles have just come from the manufacturer, while used cars have been owned or leased by someone else – and “pre-owned” is just a nice way of saying “used.”

The term “Certified Pre-Owned” or “CPO,” however, is not the same as “used” and has a very specific meaning. These are pre-owned models that have effectively been given the manufacturer seal of approval. Only certain vehicles can qualify for this and be offered as CPO from a dealer, and they have to meet the high standards set by the manufacturer in order to ensure they are in the best condition possible. So when you look at CPO models at your Certified Pre-Owned Chevrolet dealer, you know that they are in great shape, and you get special incentives and benefits for choosing one.

Advantages of a CPO Chevy

First of all, in order for a model to be approved and offered as a Certified Pre-Owned Chevy at a dealership, it needs to pass a rigorous 172-point inspection. This is carried out by certified technicians that know Chevy vehicles inside and out so that they are experienced with what a Chevy should look like when it is new and in great condition. Also, these technicians must be certified by Chevy because they will have received the appropriate training in what to look for. In addition to this inspection, a vehicle has to have a clean title to be certified, it cannot be older than 6 model years, and it must have fewer than 75,000 miles on it.

If any of these above conditions are not met, then it cannot be offered as a CPO vehicle. This means that when you are shopping for these models at your Certified Pre-Owned Chevrolet dealer, you do not have to have the same worries as with a typical used car. In other words, going with a CPO model takes a lot of the guesswork out of buying a used vehicle because you do not have to fret about what might have happened to it in the past.

To facilitate this even further, every CPO Chevy comes with a free vehicle history report, so you can see what it has been through with a previous owner. You also get to be a part of a scheduled maintenance program with a CPO Chevy, reducing some of the cost of owning your car, and you gain access to free roadside assistance for up to 6 years with the vehicle. All of this is in addition to two fantastic warranties that every CPO Chevy comes with.

The first is a comprehensive 12-month/12,000-mile bumper-to-bumper limited warranty that is offered in addition to any original factory bumper-to-bumper warranty that might remain on the vehicle. And second, you get a 6-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty on any CPO model you find at your Certified Pre-Owned Chevrolet dealer. Both of these warranties, alongside the thorough inspection and other requirements, mean you can save money on a CPO Chevy and still drive with confidence in your vehicle.

Silverado 1500

There's more than one reason why the Silverado truck from Chevy is one of the most popular on the road. Not only does the light-duty full-size truck have the power behind it to get the job done, but it doesn't skip over the comfort and quality that Chevy vehicles are known for.

The Chevy Silverado comes standard with a V6 or a 2.7L turbocharged engine but leaves buyers the choice of upgrading to a V8 or diesel engine. This will give drivers the horsepower and towing power that they need for any job. It's no wonder the Silverado seems to be the go-to choice for drivers wanting to get more out of their trucks.

But the appeal of the Silverado isn't just what's under the hood. The interior is known to give drivers plenty of legroom and headroom while keeping controls conveniently within reach. Add to that extra storage space and options for extended or crew cab, and it seems there's nothing the Silverado can't do. With the options for a standard, short, or extended bed, the Silverado makes day-to-day jobs easier than ever before, moving the driver from workday to weekend with the ease and comfort one would expect from Chevy.

And when it comes to safety, you never have to worry when you're behind the wheel of a Chevy. A CPO Chevy Silverado 1500 is one of the safest trucks on the road. The dependable and trustworthy Silverado has been keeping drivers protected on the road even when conditions are less than optional with its capable four-wheel drive options. So check one out here at DePaula Chevrolet, and see why the Silverado is Chevy's top-selling model on the road today.

Equinox

The Chevy Equinox is a small crossover SUV that is known for its versatility and style. With the ability to seat up to five passengers with ample legroom and headroom, the Equinox is a great choice for families. The Equinox really makes a great impression on drivers who like the wide array of features, dependability, and style the model offers. The Equinox gives drivers the flexibility and great gas mileage they desire, making the compact SUV for daily commutes or weekends in the country.

But don't think the Equinox is all style and no power. The standard turbocharged engine offers drivers plenty of horsepower, along with potential for a strong towing capacity. With some models coming with all-wheel drive, the Equinox shows it does well on many different types of roads. From city pavement to campgrounds, a CPO Chevy Equinox will be as versatile as it is efficient.

Like all Chevy's, when you get behind the wheel, you have that extra security of knowing you and your family are going to be taken care of. With features like front pedestrian braking, and alerts set up to warn drivers of potential lane departures or a possible collision, Chevy knows safety has to come first.

Trax

Looking for a crossover with plenty of room but more compact than your average SUV? Want something that doesn't compromise style or efficiency but still has an affordable price? The Chevy Trax might be what you're looking for, as this eye-catching subcompact SUV shows us that bigger isn't always better. The four-seater crossover offers plenty of room for its passengers, along with supportive seating and ample cargo room with the rear seats folded down. The Trax has plenty of space to offer, holding anything you might need for the day-to-day errands or weekend trips away. Nothing gets left behind when it comes to the Trax.

The Trax offers a standard four-cylinder engine that gives drivers the satisfactory power and torque that one would expect from a Chevy. Just because it's compact doesn't mean this SUV doesn't have some power behind it. A CPO Chevy Trax will also be competitive when it comes to fuel efficiency, saving drivers a few dollars at the pump and allowing you to go farther for less.

With the convenience of technology at the driver's fingertips, it's easy to keep eyes on the road ahead. Options like a rear-vision camera, various alerts to warn drivers of potentially hazardous conditions, and adaptive cruise control, the Trax gives drivers that added comfort when unknowns arise.

The Suburban and Tahoe

Sometimes, when you need more space but still want the look and convenience of an SUV, only the biggest and boldest will do. Both Suburban and the Tahoe are full-size and rugged SUVs from Chevy. And both are known for their tough demeanor but comfortable ride. It can be hard to choose between the two, but depending on your lifestyle, there's sure to be an SUV to meet all your needs.

Starting with the Suburban, the full-size three-row vehicle delivers space and comfort where it counts, all without sacrificing utility. The SUV comes standard with a powerful V8 engine, delivering impressive towing and hauling capabilities. Add to that an optional Duramax turbo-diesel engine in newer models, and it seems there's nothing a CPO Chevy Suburban can't do.

The off-roading capabilities of the Chevy Suburban make it ideal for your next adventure. Either with the seats up or all folded down, the Suburban offers more than enough room so nothing and no one will get left behind. It's no wonder it was best-in-class when it came to maximum cargo room.

Like the Suburban, a CPO Chevy Tahoe offers just as much strength and durability, along with ample seating room for three rows of passengers. Its slightly smaller dimensions don't mean you won't have flexible cargo space either, with the ability to fold down the seats to increase the space if desired. The fact that it comes standard with a V8 engine gives it the horsepower and torque you need for whatever comes up.

Don't think a tough vehicle like the Tahoe isn't built for relaxing either. The makers at Chevy didn't overlook comfort when they designed the Tahoe. The sophisticated design, paired with close at hand technology, makes the Tahoe an impressive SUV both inside and out. And with all the special safety features Chevy is known for, nothing says form and function like the Tahoe does.

The Colorado

Want the power of a work truck but don't need a full-size model? Check out the compact Colorado from Chevy. This midsize pick-up brings the power you need with a standard V6 engine, giving drivers plenty of horsepower and torque for any adventure. So don't let its smaller size fool you; drivers know the Colorado is more than capable when it comes to getting the job done. The eye-catching style of the Colorado is a stand-out among midsize trucks. The compact truck comes with plenty of cabin room for the driver and passengers, plus plenty of space in the back for whatever you may need. With cargo space choices ranging from a short bed option up to a long bed, the Colorado gives drivers choices to fit their needs and lifestyle.

You'll feel even better about a CPO Chevy Colorado knowing it has your back when it comes to the safety of you and your passengers. With features varying from model to model, technology like traction control and a reinforced safety cage means the Colorado is ready to take you from work to your next adventure, all with the style and dependability Chevy is known for.
