Moving up to the 2LT and 3LT trims will get you a turbocharged 2.0-L 4-cylinder engine that pushes out 230 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. Optional on both of these trims and standard on the RS and Premier is a powerful 3.6-L V6 engine. It produces 308 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque and gets about 22 mpg combined (19 city/26 highway). All of these engines are mated with a 9-speed automatic transmission and FWD. However, the higher trims can be equipped with AWD, which is what you will want if you intend on hitting the wild outdoors. The maximum towing capacity for these vehicles is set at 4,500 pounds when properly equipped.

  The 2020 Kia Sorento is available with one of two engine options. Again, which one you get depends mainly on the trim level you choose. Stepping up to the S, EX Sport and SX trims will get you a 3.3-L V6 that generates 290 hp and 252 lb-ft of torque. This trim adds a noise-reducing windshield and power-adjustable front seats.
