Jam-Packed Technology
These days, SUVs are expected to come jam-packed with loads of advanced tech to make the driving experience fun and easy. The 2021 Chevy Blazer does not disappoint. The interior is equipped with the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System. The standard 8-inch touchscreen infotainment center features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to give you instant connectivity to your devices for music and navigation. It also comes with an available 4G LTE WiFi hotspot, so you are never disconnected no matter where you travel.
A super cool new feature in the 2021 Chevy Blazer comes from Amazon. For the first time ever, you can have Alexa built into your vehicle. She can bring all your Amazon favorites like music libraries, shopping lists, and even connect to your smart home devices. This feature truly brings the Blazer into the future.
The Drive Mode Dial
But one of our favorite technology features in the 2021 Chevy Blazer is the drive mode dial. This easily allows the driver to change the traction and driving performance of the vehicle in order to adapt to changing conditions or specific circumstances like carrying heavy loads in order to maximize efficiency and vehicle performance. With this feature, there are five driving modes featured.
The first option is called Tour. This mode switches the drivetrain to front-wheel drive for fuel efficient travel on easy terrain like a highway. This is a great option for long trips. The second mode is Available AWD. This engages the all-wheel drive on available models. Ideal for slippery or unreliable terrain; this mode maximizes traction and enhances your drive to keep you confident no matter what the conditions are.
Then there is the Tow/Haul mode. The Chevy Blazer can haul quite a bit; with the available V6 engine, it can tow close to 5,000 lbs. These abilities are enhanced by the tow/haul driving mode, which prioritizes pulling performance. Next is the Off-Road Driving mode, which is perfect for when your journey takes you off the beaten path. This uses throttle and chassis control systems for tackling difficult terrain, so traction is placed wherever it needs to be most.
Last on the dial is Sport Mode. Thankfully the designers put in a driving mode that is in line with how sleek the Blazer looks. With sport mode, you won’t be wasting any of the formidable style and flair designed in this vehicle. Dial into Sport Mode, and you'll feel a more responsive and fun drive. With all of these options, technology takes the Blazer to the next level and really allows it to stand out on the market.
