Right now is a very exciting time in the auto industry as 2022 models are being revealed and announced pretty frequently. We already have some details on a number of great 2022 Chevy vehicles that you’ll soon find in stock, which we’re going to get into a bit today. With so many different fantastic models coming out, we don’t have the time to go too deep on the models we’re looking at here today. So give us a call or come visit us if one of these vehicles has piqued your interest and you’d like to know more about it – we’re always happy to help.
#1 – The 2022 Chevy Bolt EV
Let’s kick things off with one of the models we’re most excited about (though we’re pretty jazzed about all of these): the redesigned Chevy Bolt EV. While a lot of attention is going to the all-new Bolt EUV (coming up next), the established Bolt EV is better than ever before. In terms of overall performance and range, it’s going to continue to deliver the fantastic ride it provided with its 2021 model: an estimated 259 miles of range on a full charge and a full charge in about 7 hours with a 240v connection.
The exterior of the Bolt EV has been reimagined and updated for 2022, however, with a new hood, new front and rear fascias, new LED headlamps, and much more. There are some exciting new colors available this year, like Ice Blue Metallic and Gray Ghost Metallic, along with a new interior that features a redesigned instrument panel and updated seats. DC Fast Charging support is now standard on all trims, and a dual-level charging cord makes home charging easier than ever before.
#2 – The 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV
While the hatchback design of the standard Bolt EV is great, if you want something closer to a compact crossover SUV, then check out the all-new Bolt EUV. This model expands Chevy’s EV lineup, giving us a hint of what the future of Chevy’s lineup is going to look like, and it’s built on the same platform as the Bolt EV, so its performance and technology are already tried, tested, and proven to be reliable. The roomier interior of the Bolt EUV gives you 3 inches more legroom in the rear than the standard Bolt EV while delivering the same excellent performance.
With the Bolt EUV, you get an estimated 247 miles of range on a full charge, with DC Fast Charging support that allows you to get up to 95 miles of range on just a 30-minute charge. The Bolt EUV’s 10-inch infotainment display looks great, while One Pedal Driving functionality lets you extend your range and makes driving a lot more relaxing. Best of all: great safety features like automatic emergency braking, a forward collision alert, and lane keep assist with lane departure warning are standard on every trim.
#3 – The 2022 Chevy Colorado
While it might not be getting as much of an update as some of the other models here, the Chevy Colorado continues to be our favorite midsize pickup. For 2022, the Colorado is getting a few nice upgrades, such as the Trail Boss package now being available on the LT and Z71 trims. This includes a 1-inch suspension lift, front and mid-vehicle skid plates, and more, making the Colorado a fantastic option for taking off-road. With the ZR2 trim, however, you take the Colorado’s off-road performance to the next level, so keep this in mind if you’re looking for a new Chevy vehicle to take on the trail.

#4 – The 2022 Chevy Trailblazer
The first of several Chevy SUVs we’re going to take a look at, the Trailblazer has proven itself incredibly popular since its introduction. For its 2022 model, you’ll find a few excellent updates to make this great SUV even better. There are new roof rack cross rails available, for example, along with an updated trailering package that includes a trailer hitch, harness, and bezel for impressive towing performance. A heated steering wheel is now standard on ACTIV and RS trims and available on the LT trim. Plus, there are several new exterior colors to choose from, including Blue Glow Metallic and Crimson Metallic.
#5 – The 2022 Chevy Trax
Not content with having one fantastic subcompact SUV available, Chevy has not only the Trailblazer but also the Trax for you to choose from. While a lot of 2022 model updates are focused on expanded options for certain trims or refreshed exteriors, the Trax is actually becoming more powerful than its previous year. The 2021 Trax featured a 1.4L Turbocharged engine that offered 138 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque; for 2022, this engine has been tuned up to deliver 155 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque. That’s a pretty impressive step up that is sure to make the 2022 Trax even more fun to drive than last year’s model.
#6 – The 2022 Chevy Equinox
The Equinox, Chevy’s best-selling compact SUV, is getting a pretty thorough refresh and update for its 2022 model. This crossover already looked great, but for 2022 it’s receiving a refreshed style that includes new front and rear fascias, a new grille design, and new LED headlamps. A new RS trim was introduced for 2022, which includes a black exterior with 19-inch Dark Android wheels, along with a black interior that features red stitching for an impressive and stylish look. The LS and LT trims are getting new interior details, and there are a number of new exterior colors available.
To go along with this refresh, there are also a number of new features being offered on the 2022 Equinox. In terms of safety, front and rear park assist will now be available, along with automatic parking assist. The 2022 update also adds wireless capability for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with outside heated, power-adjustable side mirrors with integrated turn signal indicators.

#7 – The 2022 Chevy Blazer
One of two midsize Chevy SUVs, the Blazer has proven itself quite popular, and the 2022 updates should only cement that further. For this model year, a two-tone roof is available on the LT and RS trim, while the Premier features a refreshed look that includes new wheels, dark front and lower rear fascias, and other exterior details. Two new exterior colors are available – Nitro Yellow Metallic and Blue Glow Metallic – along with an enhanced convenience package for the Premier trim.
#8 – The 2022 Chevy Traverse
The other midsize SUV from Chevy, the 2022 Traverse features a refreshed appearance that includes a new front fascia and grille, along with a new headlamp configuration that features standard LED headlamps and daytime running lamps. There are also a number of new exterior color options available for the Traverse, plus power-folding, heated outside mirrors that are standard on the RS, Premier, and High Country trims. Altogether, the refresh for 2022 helps revitalize an already fantastic SUV with exterior details that look terrific.
With so many great options to choose from, it can be tricky to narrow them down and find the perfect model. That is why it helps to have someone by your side who can answer all of your questions and work with you to figure out what you need.
