As a compact SUV, the Chevy Equinox is in one of the most popular segments in the auto industry, which makes it no surprise that it’s one of Chevy’s most sought-after models on the market. Whether you’re looking for something to drive on your own, prefer a vehicle that’s perfect for date nights, or need an SUV for a new family, the Equinox is a terrific option. As your Chevy dealer near Hudson, we’re incredibly proud to be able to offer the Equinox for our customers—the fresh design for the all-new 2025 Equinox takes things to a higher level entirely. Let’s have a closer look at the remarkable host of new features this SUV is bringing to the road this year and see why so many people are excited about it.

A Gorgeous New Exterior Design

The first thing most folks will notice when looking at the 2025 Equinox is the newly redesigned exterior that looks stronger and far more impressive than ever before. Chevy’s engineers and designers took inspiration from their legendary truck lineup, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. This has led to a stronger overall look and a powerful stance you don’t typically find with a compact model like this. It’s about more than looking great; it’s about feeling great when you’re behind the wheel and driving around Hudson.

For the all-new generation, the Equinox is more than two inches wider than last year’s model, giving it a stance that is actually broader and more athletic overall. That results in better handling and an enhanced feel that is rewarding when you’re on the road and helps keep you in control at all times. In addition to this, numerous distinct fascia treatments are now found on different trim levels, giving each an individual touch of flair, along with all LED lighting for gorgeous design and brilliant illumination. While 17-inch wheels are standard, the RS model has 20-inch wheels available for the first time ever on the Equinox, delivering an elevated position and a more powerful overall look.

Fantastic New Tech Features

Although the all-new Equinox looks stunning from the outside, Chevy’s designers haven’t forgotten the inside. For starters, the interior is more spacious than before, ensuring you and your passengers are all quite comfortable. Beyond that, the star of the show inside the Equinox has to be the stunning 11.3-inch infotainment display that’s 30% larger than the biggest screen available in last year’s model. This is angled slightly toward the driver and is paired with an 11-inch configurable Driver Information Center display to provide you with two large screens that make it easy to keep track of all of the information you need.

Heated front seats and a heated steering wheel are standard on every 2025 Equinox, which is perfect for cold winter mornings in Hudson, along with a six-speaker sound system. You’ll find numerous USB ports in the Equinox for keeping devices charged, with a wireless charging pad available if you have a compatible device. Other nice updates include a new electronic precision shifter on the steering column, which provides you with more room in the central area between the front seats; plus, you can get heated rear seats and ventilated front seating, too.

The All-New Equinox ACTIV Model

One of our favorite things about seeing a new generation of a Chevy model is watching how Chevy changes up the available selection for drivers. For the 2025 Equinox, the starting LS trim has been eliminated, making the advanced LT the new standard, joined by the RS and its gorgeous design. New for this year, however, is a stunning new ACTIV trim level designed to meet the needs of drivers with a spirit for adventure. If you’re looking for something to leave the streets of Hudson behind and get you to your favorite campground, then this is the one for you.

The Chevy Equinox ACTIV features a rugged front fascia with vertical grille inserts that give it a stunning appearance, plus blacked-out badging for an extra touch of style. You’ll find 17-inch wheels on the ACTIV wrapped in all-terrain tires that are perfect for dealing with dirt and gravel roads. The Maple Sugar and Black interior is absolutely gorgeous and sophisticated, even when you’re away from civilization, and it has a bold off-road look overall. Perhaps our favorite touch is the white roof that provides a two-tone look when paired with gorgeous exterior colors like Mosaic Black Metallic, Cacti Green, or Radiant Red Tintcoat.

Taking Advanced Safety to the Next Level

As a car dealership, the most important thing to us is meeting the needs of our customers, which includes making sure everyone who leaves our lot is in a vehicle that’s safe. That’s why we’re so excited to see the incredible list of standard safety features on the 2025 Equinox. This starts with the Chevy Safety Assist suite of advanced technologies, including a Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking. Chevy Safety Assist also includes a Following Distance Indicator, Lane Keep Assist, and IntelliBeam headlights that switch on and off automatically.

What takes things to the next level here is the additional features beyond Chevy Safety Assist, such as a Side Bicyclist Alert to warn you when someone is there you might not see. Adaptive Cruise Control is standard to make daily drives around Hudson and long road trips easier, along with a Lane Change Alert with a Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Braking. You also find Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking, Rear Park Assist, and Enhanced Lane Keep Assist all standard on every 2025 Equinox, enhancing your abilities on the road to keep you and others safer.

First-Ever Driver-Selectable Modes

Overall, the performance of the all-new Equinox is not much different from what you’ll find in this compact SUV right now. It has a 1.5L turbocharged engine that delivers 175 hp like the current one; models with front-wheel drive (FWD) get 184 lb-ft of torque, while all-wheel drive (AWD) models get 203 lb-ft of torque instead. Having the freedom to choose either setup is nice, and while FWD models get a continuously variable transmission, an Equinox with AWD features an eight-speed automatic instead.

However, what sets this apart from the current model is that RS and ACTIV trim levels will offer driver-selectable modes. Using a rotary dial on the center console, you can select between Normal and Snow modes, along with an Off-Road mode on models with AWD. This lets you ensure optimal handling, traction, and overall performance in slippery conditions, which is perfect for heading to a campsite for the weekend or simply dealing with snowy streets around Hudson in the winter.

Are You Ready for the All-New Equinox?

As you can see, the 2025 Chevy Equinox has a lot to offer, and it’s pretty easy to understand why we’re so excited to offer this stunning new option to our customers. If you’re interested in a compact SUV, then the future looks good for you, and all we have to do now is find the patience to wait until this beauty is ready to drive. Chevy hasn’t officially announced the starting price or street date for the all-new Equinox yet, so we’ll have to find a way to wait until they do.

That might not be easy, but we’ve been told that good things are always worth the wait. In the meantime, we have the rest of Chevy’s lineup to enjoy—this all-new model means that every Chevy SUV is new or has been refreshed in the last two years. In other words, there’s never been a better time to check out what Chevy has to offer.
