When it comes to picking out a new SUV, there are plenty of details to consider. How do you plan to use your new vehicle? Where do you want to go? And what can your new car do to help make your life a little easier? For many drivers, the answers to these questions all point to the 2027 Chevy Equinox EV.

Designed to be versatile, the 2027 Equinox EV is an ideal choice for drivers who need an SUV that can step up and take on even the busiest days without requiring constant stops at the gas station. With its exceptional range, easy charging options, and trims that give drivers plenty of choice when finding the perfect vehicle, it’s no wonder so many drivers turn to the Equinox EV for all of their driving needs.

Let’s take a look at how the 2027 Chevy Equinox EV can make your life easier.

Range for Any Commute

Whether your day takes you around town, down the freeway, or across the country, the 2027 Equinox EV is engineered to make life easier.

Offered in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, the Equinox EV boasts impressive range. Front-wheel drive models have an EPA-estimated electric range of 319 miles, while the all-wheel drive models provide 307 miles of range on a full charge.

While the Equinox EV does need to be plugged in to recharge, Chevy has incorporated a variety of methods to get the most out of your electric experience. One Pedal Driving and Regen on Demand help convert momentum into energy the battery can use to extend your range.

Versatile Cargo Capability

Not only can the Equinox EV take you where you need to be, but it’s also prepared to carry all of your stuff with you, too.

With all five seats occupied, the Equinox EV offers 26.4 cubic feet of cargo space. With the rear seat completely folded, that space grows to 57.2 cubic feet. And if that’s not enough, consider the Equinox EV Lifestyle Package, which adds a cargo carrier mount and roof cross rails to the SUV.

Towing is also possible with the Equinox EV LT2 and RS trims. With the available Trailering Package, these models can tow up to 1,500 pounds. Furthermore, your trailering experience can be upgraded with towing technology, including Hitch Guidance and Hitch View, which provide live views of the rear of the car for easier maneuvering.

Easy to Charge at Home and On the Go

When it comes time to charge your 2027 Equinox EV, you’ll find there are plenty of options.

Every trim comes with a standard Dual Level Charge Cord with attachment plugs for both Level 1 120-volt and Level 2 240-volt charging. This gives you the option of plugging into a standard three-prong household outlet or a 240-volt outlet.

Should you need to charge your EV in public, Chevy makes that process easy as well. The myChevrolet app can help you locate over 250,000 public chargers, and the NACS port lets you plug into any of the roughly 40,000 Tesla Superchargers without an adaptor. When using a DC Fast Charger, you can add up to 80 miles of range in 10 minutes.

Also available for the 2027 Equinox EV is the GM Energy PowerShift Charger. This Level 2 home charging station allows for bidirectional EV charging. That means you can charge your car at home, of course, but this technology also lets you use your Equinox EV to power your home during a power outage.

A Trim for Everyone

For the 2027 model year, Chevy offers the Equinox EV in three distinct and well-equipped trims.

LT1

The Equinox EV LT1 serves as the introduction to the lineup, with a modest price and tons of goodies to make time on the road safer, easier, and more enjoyable.

Every Equinox EV is equipped with the comprehensive Chevy Safety Assist package of driver assistance tools. In the LT1, you’ll find an HD Rear Vision Camera, Blind Zone Steering Assist, and Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, which is more than you might expect in a base model.

The LT1 rides high on 19-inch aluminum wheels, though that can be changed, thanks to the many appearance packages offered by Chevy, allowing you to drive on everything from blackout wheels to 21-inch Tech Bronze wheels.

LT2

Next up is the Equinox EV LT2. While the LT1 is a fantastic base model, the LT2 enhances the driving experience with quite a few extras, including standard heated front seats. You’ll also enjoy a few bonuses as the driver, including power lumbar controls, a heated steering wheel, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.

LT2 drivers will also enjoy a standard AutoSense power programmable liftgate that can detect the presence of the key fob, making it easier to access your cargo, even with your hands full

RS

The Equinox EV RS is similar to the LT2 in its functional features, but has an attitude all of its own. Known as a sportier trim throughout the Chevy lineup, the RS continues the tradition with a confident, sleek appearance.

The front and rear fascia have been specially designed for a sporty look and are joined by 21-inch black wheels, black badges, and black roof side rails. For those who enjoy two-tone color combinations, the RS offers a black roof as an option.

Inside the cabin, you’ll find more sporty appearance accents, along with the flat-bottom steering wheel that has become tradition in Chevy’s sportiest vehicles.

Technology Highlights

Today’s drivers aren’t just looking for a car that’s comfortable or stylish. It’s important to find a vehicle that keeps you connected with tech features that make sense for you.

All 2027 Equinox EV models include a standard 17.7-inch color infotainment touchscreen display with Google built-in, allowing you to choose your tunes, respond to texts, answer calls, and find the best place to get dinner all from the driver’s seat.

A standard 11-inch color Driver Information Center is found behind the steering wheel, providing you with information about your battery status, range, speed, and more. Chevy lets you customize this display with five themes: Single Gauge, Dual Gauge, Map, Driver Assistance, and Clean.

Chevy’s Super Cruise driver assistance technology is available on all three trims, giving drivers the option to go hands-free on hundreds of thousands of miles of highways across North America. This technology needs to be experienced to be believed and can make a long road trip far less tiring.

Other treats are offered exclusively on the LT2 and RS trims, including HD Surround Vision, which provides a 360-degree view around your Equinox, wireless phone charging, and Traffic Sign Recognition technology.

And That’s Not All…

The 2027 Chevy Equinox EV offers so much more than many SUVs that it’s difficult to capture succinctly. Chevy has a reputation for allowing drivers to customize their vehicle’s appearance and features, so whether you’re looking for a stunning exterior or a Bose premium audio system, it’s possible to have it all with the Equinox EV.

Practical, versatile, and fun are some of the best words to describe the 2027 Chevy Equinox EV, making it a delight to own and drive.
