What Makes Chevy a Standout Manufacturer?
We could have chosen any number of vehicle models to stand behind, but we chose Chevy because we believe in supporting top-notch businesses. Chevy has been around for more than 100 years and still continues to stand the test of time. Throughout that time, not only has Chevrolet continued to keep up with the times and produce modern and advanced vehicles, but Chevy has also maintained a strong sense of community. Chevrolet believes in giving back and proves this time and time again.
One way Chevrolet supports its local communities is by supporting youth sports programs. When youth play sports, they are learning a whole lot more than how to play ball. Playing sports is good for a child’s physical, mental, and emotional development. Someone once said, “The children are our future,” and Chevy stands by this saying by donating money, resources, and even time to youth sports programs all over the country every single year.
Chevrolet also partners with the American Cancer Society and, to date, has donated more than 13 million dollars towards protecting people against all forms of cancer. Cancer is a horrible disease that steals the lives of loved ones every single day. Nobody should have to lose a loved one to cancer, which is why Chevrolet stands behind the American Cancer Society’s efforts to find a cure once and for all.
Chevrolet also supports local communities after a natural disaster such as a hurricane or tornado. Living in the greatest country on earth doesn’t mean much if you’ve lost everything. Chevrolet supports victims of these disasters by helping them to get back on their feet and able to provide for their families again.
Speaking of the greatest country in the world, Chevrolet acknowledges the fact that we only get to enjoy our beloved freedoms thanks to our servicemen and women in the military. We wouldn’t be where we are without them, and Chevrolet works to give back by partnering with Operation Homefront. Operation Homefront is a noble organization that takes care of those in the military who have worked so hard to take care of us. All these programs and more are a huge focus on the Chevy Cares mission that DePaula Chevy believes in, and that’s why we feel good about working with such an amazing company.
Popular Chevy Models
At any given time, DePaula Chevy may have several hundred vehicles available for you to look at. We want to make sure you get the perfect vehicle for you, and so we work hard to keep a large selection on hand at all times. However, we have found that New Yorkers tend to gravitate towards a select few, and so we tend to focus on these most popular vehicles.
Perhaps one of the most popular Chevy models amongst New Yorkers is the Chevy Traverse. The Traverse is one of Chevy’s newer models and has only been around since 2008, but it’s definitely become a hit. The Traverse came about during a time when Americans were particularly obsessed with SUVs.
Another popular choice amongst New York drivers is the Chevy Silverado. The Silverado is arguably the best truck in America and for two years in a row now has boasted the award of best in class towing. The Silverado first appeared in 1999 and has been keeping other truck manufacturers on their toes ever since.
Chevy’s truck is currently in the middle of its 4th generation, and each year the Silverado just gets better and better. Back in the ’70s and the days of the C/K trucks, the Silverado was just a trim option. However, this trim was so popular that Chevy gave it its own line and used it to replace the C/K trucks altogether. Today, the Silverado is one of the best-selling trucks in America.
Of course, who could forget the Chevy Equinox? The Equinox is another popular Chevy model and has been serving New York and America since 2005. The Equinox was Chevy’s first attempt at a crossover SUV, and it did not disappoint. Like other Chevrolet models, the Equinox designers focus on listening to consumer feedback and are consistently working hard to bring the updates real-life drivers want, such as sleeker designs and better fuel economy.
