How the Chevy City Express’s MPG Compares to the Competition

Finally, the Nissan NV200 offers identical mpg specs as the City Express, and the price of the two commercial trucks are pretty comparable. In fact, the two trucks use the same exact engine. So how should you distinguish between the two? Chevy hasn’t hid the fact that they used Nissan as a guide for their City Express, but they also wanted to build off the success of the NV200. Imagine the City Express as an upgraded, better-running version of the NV200, and with everything else being comparable, that’s enough to put Chevrolet on top.

After looking it over, is there really any debate? To further convince you, just consider the City Express’s $21,995 MSRP, a reasonable asking price considering the fuel economy. Take into account the price of the other commercial trucks, like the Ford Transit ($23,330) and the Ram ProMaster ($29,735), and you’re looking at an absolute bargain!
